No stranger to the world of culinary competition, Chef Cummins has competed successfully against chefs from all over the world and has amassed many medals over the years. Naturally creative, his career has been defined by his imaginative and skilled art of food presentation.

Chef Seth Hasin-Bromley

Chef Seth Hansin-Bromley has worked at many of the finest restaurants in the UK- including ‘The Fat Duck’ and ‘Dinner’, which have been counted among the 10 Best in the World. Since moving to Barbados, Seth has been consulting with various restaurants, providing training and helping to develop and update their menus.

Shaunté Flatts is a young pastry chef who believes desserts make everything much better. She is the owner of Taelicious foods and has worked at Sea Breeze, The Sands Hotel, St. Peter’s Bay and The Sands where she then took a big step as Pastry Chef de partie.

Chef Trevon Stoute’s entry into the culinary world was much like the start of any great meal, building anticipation from the first bite. Throughout his career, he has always introduced something into the mix that was daringly creative, flawlessly flavourful and wrapped in passion. This passion has inspired Chef Stoute, a luxury culinary services company catering to luxury villas and also aboard private jet charters and Quintessential- a classic collection of Food and Beverage apparel.

Chef Adrian Cumberbatch is the owner of Cook Caribbean Inc and Follow De Smoke located on Pebbles Beach. His love and passion have driven him to become a multiple gold winner at the prestigious Taste of the Caribbean Competition held every year in Miami by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association.

Phillip Antoine

Philip Antoine is a mixologist/liquid artist known by the bartending moniker ‘Philip Casanova’. A multiple winner of the ‘Barbados Bartender of the Year’ title, he has represented Barbados at numerous competitions; all of which he won gold. Apart from competing in events as a culinary ambassador, Philip is the owner and lead liquid artist of the company Cassanova Liquid Artistry, which specialises in crafted bottled cocktails.

Shane McClean

Award winning, international mixologist, Shane McClean is a man of many talents known for creating well-balanced cocktail recipes. He has held the title of Culinary Ambassador for Barbados since 2018, travelling both regionally and internationally representing Barbados alongside other award-winning mixologists and chefs.

Natasha Jules

Natasha Jules has 17 years’ experience in the local bar industry. Her journey began at a local staple in St. Lawrence Gap, Hal’s Bar, as she was intrigued by how energetic it was. At the time, she had no experience, however after a brief conversation with the owner, she was offered an opportunity to ply her new trade, the very next day. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Alexander Chandler

Alexander Chandler’s, known popularly as Alexander DaVinci, passion for the art and craft of mixology has granted him the opportunity to represent Barbados at the Taste of the Caribbean event on two occasions. He has also flown across the globe to showcase his country and has been to places like Scotland, London, the Hamptons, Boston, Long Island and Rhode Island, gaining knowledge to master his craft.

Jamaal Bowen

With 20 years of experience in the Food and Beverage industry, Mixologist Jamaal Bowen has a stellar track record in both local and global competitions. He is also one of the founding directors of the Barbados Rum Society, which is the entity responsible for the Barbados Rum Experience. Jamaal has a stellar track record in competitions both locally and globally, winning multiple awards. One notable accolade is the first Barbadian to become CHTA Bartender of the Year at the Taste of the Caribbean in 2012.
